Anchored in a Shaking World

With global conflicts, rising economic instability, and deep moral confusion, many feel like the ground beneath them is crumbling. People grasp for control in a world that seems increasingly out of control. Yet the Bible reminds us that God is not shaken. In uncertain times, we are called to fix our eyes on what cannot be moved—the kingdom of God and the promises of His Word.

Hebrews 12:28 (KJV)
“Wherefore we receiving a kingdom which cannot be moved, let us have grace, whereby we may serve God acceptably with reverence and godly fear.”

The kingdoms of this world rise and fall, but the kingdom of God is eternal. In Hebrews, we are reminded that while the earth trembles, God's kingdom stands unshaken. Those who belong to Christ are citizens of this eternal kingdom—not because of merit, but because of grace. That reality gives us peace when the world unravels around us.

Lord, thank You for giving us a kingdom that cannot be shaken. Help me to live with reverence and trust, knowing You rule over all. Let my heart find rest in You, not in the stability of this world. Make me a light to others, pointing them to the peace found only in Christ. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
