Held by His Hand

“For I the Lord thy God will hold thy right hand, saying unto thee, Fear not; I will help thee.”

Exposition:

This verse is a tender promise from God to His people. Unlike a distant deity, the Lord identifies Himself as near—so near, in fact, that He is holding your right hand. In ancient times, holding someone's right hand symbolized strength, partnership, and honor. Here, God Himself takes the initiative. He doesn’t merely command strength; He imparts it.
